Public Liability Insurance (PLI)
Public Liability Insurance covers any awards of damages given to a member of the public because of an injury or damage to their property caused by you or your business. It also covers any related legal fees, costs and expenses as well as costs of hospital treatment (including ambulance costs) that the NHS may claim.
LA Karaoke are fully covered with £1million PLI.
PAT Testing
PAT Testing or portable appliance testing is an important part of health & safety policy.
The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 places a legal responsibility on employers, employees and self-employed persons to comply with the provisions of the regulations and take reasonably practicable steps to ensure that no danger results from the use of electrical equipment. This in effect requires the implementation of a systematic and regular program of maintenance, inspection and testing.
All LA Karaoke equipment has been PAT Tested to comply with these regulations.
CRB Background Check
The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) provides access to criminal record information through its Disclosure Service. This service enables organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors to make safe recruitment decisions by identifying individuals who may be unsuitable for certain work, especially work involving children or vulnerable adults.
Both Lauren and Alexandra have undertaken and passed a CRB check - copies of their Disclosure Documentation can be provided upon request.
